So the last few days.... Nice, Avignon, Barcelona, and spending a few nights here in Madrid before going to Egypt on Sunday for another couple of weeks. Phew, it´s tough travelling, mainly trying to find a clean shirt to wear! But I love Spain - it´s great value compared to other european cities stuck with the euro, very clean, lovely sights and lots of shopping for those interested in that sort

So...flew into Athens end of April. It's a mess right now, dirty & lots of construction... apart from the acropolis/parthenon and the food (yay, gyros!), I didn't really like athens very much. Joined my first organised tour, a Contiki thing around the greek islands. Dr MBA: Cinque Terre! Been on my second Contiki tour a few days now. There's about 38 of us, a big group from Boston, a group from Toronto and a few others. Pre MBA holiday times! So here's the wrap... starting Melbourne MBA p/t in September, so I've kicked in the old job and got down to some serious travelling! Just spent a week on a cruise boat visiting some of the Greek Islands - Mykonos, Crete, Rhodes, Patmos, Santorini, and Kusadasi on the Turkish coast. What a blast! DrMBA; in at Melbourne! Got a call from my parents the other day, they've been opening my mail for the last year or so (thanks dad!) and got one from Melbourne Business School, I have to be back in Australia end of August to start classes! Works out well - I was planning to come home around end of July anyway, but now I've got something to look forwards to! So.... I'm in for the part-time MBA.

Official GMAT results, but the waiting continues! Was browsing the League of MBA Bloggers when I found this site listed. Cool! Anyway I just got back from the USA today. Dr MBA in Canada! Well, I did my GMAT a few weeks ago...I didn't really take more time off to study for it, just stayed in for a few nights to get some reading done. At the end of the day (can't believe I just used that line!) I scored well enough on the GMAT, certainly well about the MBS "average" entry GMAT, but not as high as I would have liked to show off with :) After that, finished

Whenever I've got a free moment (which isn't all that often) I open it up, and have a read through one of the sample essay answers. Hmm, how do you do long division and multiplication again?? Just had a bit of a flick through the Princeton Review GMAT prep book. One thing good about it, it really goes back to basics on some math principles. Some of it I'd really long forgotten, such as how to divide fractions etc. And long multiplication? Remember, you can't bring a calculator when you do the GMAT, so I was really struggling

Received more GMAT prep books! I've been a bit obsessive lately, what with my addiction to amazon.co.uk shopping! The first book I bought was Kaplan 2004 with CD-ROM, it's excellent as far as I can tell!
